You can access details of your available cash balance in your personal client area. To do this, click on the available cash balance under your portfolio value.

In the Scalable Broker (Clearing Account):
In the app, the available cash balance is shown below the performance display under "Cash". By clicking on "Cash" you can directly see your account balance and buying power. If you are on the web, click on your cash balance balance above the portfolio. A new page will open. There you will find an overview of your available cash balance.

In Scalable Overnight account:
Your balance in the overnight deposit account is shown separately. Since this account has its own IBAN, you will find an overview of your deposits as well as the monthly credited interest (2.50% p.a.*) here. Click on your overnight account in the "Home" section to open the details and interest overview.

Please note that the credit balance may differ from the available credit balance. This may be due to the following factors:

  • If savings plans are set to be debited from your broker's balance, the amounts are reserved your savings plans several days in advance.
  • Sale proceeds can be used immediately to purchase securities, but are generally not available for withdrawal until two banking days later. This is because the actual exchange of securities for payment (known as settlement) does not take place until two days after the transaction has been concluded on the stock exchange.
  • Balances from direct debits and deposits via Instant may only be paid out or used to purchase derivatives after eight weeks.
