The overall risk indicator (SRRI), which is listed in the key information document of the fund, shows the associated risk. A rating of 4 out of 7 corresponds to a medium risk class, comparable to an ETF tracking the MSCI World Index.


Nonetheless, there are some special risk factors to consider with Private Equity:

  • Investments are made in illiquid holdings or projects.

  • Shares in the fund cannot be sold at short notice or without restrictions. Redemptions on a specific date are not guaranteed.

  • The net asset value (NAV) is only calculated once a month by the fund issuer.

  • Market developments have a significant influence on the valuation of Private Equity.

  • A Private Equity fund may invest in fewer companies than a broad market public equity fund or ETF.

  • The strategy of the Private Equity fund and the selection of companies influence the product-specific ris
