For shares of German companies, you are entitled to a dividend if you hold the share in your securities account on the day of their Annual General Meeting (AGM). From the first trading day after the AGM, the share is traded "ex-dividend", as from then on there is no longer any entitlement to dividends. When you receive a dividend, it is automatically credited to your clearing account. However, the actual distribution of the dividend does not have to take place immediately after the AGM.

For dividends from foreign companies, some of which pay out a dividend several times a year, please refer to the quarterly reports or the investor relations page of the respective company.
For distributions in foreign currency, the credit to your account will take place as soon as we receive the corresponding euro amount. Please note that the conversion of foreign currencies (e.g. for US dividends) is carried out by an external partner and can currently take up to three business days. Once the euro payment has been received, we will credit the amount to you immediately at the current exchange rate.

You can find an overview of the dividends you have received in the dividend overview. To access the overview, click on your balance above your portfolio. A new page will open, click on ‘Distributions’. The overview is available on the web and in the app (iOS) and will soon also be available for Android.

Please note that the overview only includes distributions in your Scalable Capital custody account.
