Trading fractions:You cannot buy or sell fractions directly. However, as part of all savings plans, we also purchase fractions on your behalf to ensure that your entire savings amount is invested.

  • While your savings plan is active, these fractions are repeatedly combined to form whole-number securities.
  • If you wish to sell a security acquired via a savings plan and therefore contains fractions, you can, of course, also sell the resulting fractions again together with the whole position.

Beyond that, no fractions can be sold.

Rights to fractions: Property rights (ownership) are tied to whole units of a security. Individuals never acquire ownership, expectant rights, or other rights in relation to fractional shares of securities. For shares, this applies in particular to the right to attend and vote at shareholders' meetings, the right to dividends, or any subscription rights.

Ownership is transferred only in the case of whole securities. Fractions of registered shares are only transferred for registration in the share register if the sum of the fractions corresponds to at least one whole share.

Transferring fractions: Any fractional shares will not be transferred or sold automatically if you transfer your securities to another custodian bank.
