Your broker can show you two performance views: absolute return and portfolio value. Positive returns are shown in green and negative returns in red.

Absolute return shows the sum of market return and distributions before tax. Tax refunds and possible order fees are also taken into account. The absolute return shows how the value of your portfolio has changed compared to to your initial investment.

Portfolio value represents the total value of your securities, including returns, along with any deposits made to the broker account. Unlike the absolute return, the portfolio value includes tax charges.

In the web view, you will find the option in the 'Insights' tab in your broker. In the app, you can switch between the two options by clicking on the three dots to the right of the time intervals.
