The "Performance" tab in your broker client area is divided into two views: Total Return and Portfolio Value.
The total return shows the sum of market return and distributions before tax. Tax refunds and possible order fees are also taken into account. The market return is the income generated from invested capital for a selected period (e.g. one day, 3 months, since purchase, etc.), taking into account price fluctuations. Positive returns are shown in green, negative returns in red.
The portfolio value represents the total value of your securities incl. returns and also takes into account deposits to the broker balance.
In the app, you can switch between the two options by clicking on the settings icon to the right of the time intervals. The last chart you opened is automatically displayed again the next time you open the app.
